As a Colour Analysis Expert, I will use cutting-edge color science techniques to determine which color season accentuates your skin tone, eyes, hair, and personality.

While some colour analysis consultants divide the colour range into just four seasons, I take a more comprehensive approach using the 4x4 Color System. This method dives into the nuances of each season and consists of sixteen sub-seasons, each with its own unique color palette. This enables us to really hone in on YOUR 60 best colors in an extremely precise way. It is the most accurate method that exists for colour analysis!

The Process:

When you come in for your Personal Colour Analysis you will wear a white shirt and no makeup, but you will bring your core makeup with you so we can determine if it is the right shade.

At the end of your analysis, you will know your best 60 colours including suggestions for hair, nails and makeup.  

You will also gain all the benefits of knowing your colour palette, which are truly endless, but I’ve listed the top 15 here!

• Step one: We talk about your goals with colour analysis and determine your personality type.

• Step two: We uncover your skin overtone and undertones. 

• Step three: Utilizing state-of-the-art color drapes, we'll then dive into the world of primary seasons (summer, autumn, winter, spring) to identify the one that aligns harmoniously with your unique features.

• Step four: With 16 sub-seasons to choose from, we'll narrow down the options to find the sub-season colour palette that effortlessly enhances your natural beauty and personality. Yes, personality plays a part in your perfect colours! 

• Step five: We'll unveil those eye-catching show-stopper colors to captivate everyone's attention, explore your essential core neutrals, and even unlock the secrets of creatively incorporating colours you adore, but aren't part of your primary palette. 

• Step six: I will recommend jewelry colours and make-up shades that best complement your features to complete your look. We will look at the makeup you typically use and determine if you need to switch anything up. We will also talk about the best general hair colours for your season!

• Step seven: I will teach you some color psychology and how to pick colours according to how you want to be perceived in certain situations! Do you want to seem confident and assertive? There’s a color for that. Approachable and Friendly? There’s a colour for that. Playful and Spontaneous? You get the point!

Consultation Location:

This is an in-person service and takes place at the Colour House Studio in St. Louis Park, MN.

Consultation Duration:

Your colour analysis consultation will last 90-120 minutes [longer with groups depending on number of people]. This gives us time together to fully explore all the colour analysis techniques and find your perfect shades. Men and Kids sessions may be a little shorter since we don’t discuss makeup!

Pre-Consultation Dos and Don'ts:

• Do wear a white shirt and no makeup to the appointment

• Do bring your makeup with you for us to look at together

• Do bring a hair binder to tie your hair back during parts of the appointment

• Don’t get a spray tan before your appointment - it should be at 8-10 days post spray tan

• Don’t get sun burned or lay out for a few days prior to your appointment
